Appearance: Stasia is a petite woman with brown hair and brown eyes. She usually dresses pretty elegantly, even though she's not exactly royalty anymore.

Personality: Stasia is nothing like she was in life. She used to be a happy, mischivieous little child. Now she is much more silent and withdrawn, haunted by her past, she cannot stop thinking about that fateful night

Strengths: She's been around awhile so she's pretty smart, she's spry for a tiny thing, she can be pleasurably company sometimes
Weaknesses: She won't let go of what happened in 1918, she's haunted by the past, she's not really all that strong, she doesn't get out much, she's a bit anti-social

Personal History: The Grand Duchess Anastasia Nicholaievna Romanova was born to Czar Nicholas and Czarina Alexandra on June 18, 1901 in Peterhof Russia. She had three older sisters, Olga, Tatiana, and Maria, and one younger brother born in 1904, Alexei. Anastasia was always very close to her family. She and her sister Maria were called "Little Pair" while Olga and Tatiana were called "Big Pair." Her mother Alexandria was German, and her father the czar of Russia. Her childhood was spent learning many things, but World War I had taken it's toll on Russia and the family, and Nicholas was not a strong enough ruler. He abdicated the throne in 1917 and he and his family were placed under arrest, first at some different palaces and then in the Ipatiev House in Ekaterenburg, Russia.

The house that they were kept in would be the last any of her family would ever see, for not long after she'd turned 17, they were all brought into the basement, and told they were going to be executed. Before going down they believed they were to be moving, and were supposed to pose for a picture. But soon they learned of their fate, and her mother and eldest sister tried to make the sign of the cross before they were shot. Nicholas died instantly. Alexei squirmed around on the floor and was kicked repeatidly in the face by the drunken soldiers. Tatiana, Maria and Anastasia were pressed into the wall, but the bullets were deflected by the jewels which Alix had sewn into their corsets.

Her sisters died after being shot, stabbed and bludgeoned with the bayonets, and Anastasia was knocked unconscious, and appeared to be dead, so she was taken out to the courtyard with the rest of the bodies, and loaded into the truck, but the truck had hit some bumps and she had fallen out, and they hadn't stopped, the soldiers must have been too drunk. She got up and ran as fast as her legs would carry her, though she was mortally wounded.

When she stopped running, a man came upon her, but he was much more than a man, he was Anton Romanov, someone long dead, and he embraced her that night, giving her eternal life. He had saved her, but there was still much healing to be done. Healing that has barely begun. She allowed Anton to take care of her, going with him everywhere, but always remaining a little distant, never telling much about her night of horror in that basement. She adopted the name of Stasia, considering the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nicholaievna Romanova, dead along with the rest of her family.
